How to Clean a 9mm Smith Wesson
This article will explain how to clean a 9mm Smith Wesson, in plain language for those who may not be totally familiar with terminology and terms.
Note: The first step when handling any fire arm is to check it to make sure it's safe.
Find the button located behind the trigger guard then press it to release the magazine.
Pull and hold the slide, which is basically the top of the firearm.
While continuing to hold the slide, look down into the chamber to make sure that there aren't any rounds loaded.
Only after this will you be ready to move on with the cleaning of your firearm.
As with most other things in life. When you decide to take on any particular task you should be sure you have the proper tools for the job. In this particular case you need to make sure that you have a standard gun cleaning kit which is capable of cleaning a weapon of the same caliber as the one you have.
For the most part gun cleaning kits are not expensive but if you are pressed for cash, you may be able to improvise some items.
Generally you will need:
Gun Solvent
Gun Oil
Barrel Brush
Now that your weapon is has been checked for safety and you have your tools together, its time to field strip and clean this thing.
Remove the slide from the gun's frame.
Remove the barrel and the recoil spring from the slide.
While you have the parts disassembled, it would be a good idea to inspect the individual pieces for damages, defects and signs of wear.
Use the gun solvent to remove all built up residue.
Use gun oil to lubricate all parts.
Reasemble the gun.
If available use a silicon clothe the wipe down the guns exterior. This will add further protection from corrosion.

sw9ve sigma review
Very first gun review ever,maybe it will put to rest some of the false claims people make about this handgun. It is a great firearm, yes i have shot some pretty high end/reliable handguns. Glock19,kahr pm9, ruger .357 magnum fullsize, and ruger .38 snubby just to name a few and if this handgun was more than 0.00 dollars i would absolutely still buy it. For those of you who continue to make falsified claims either A) you know someone who knows someone whos sisters hairdressers husband had one who thought it was a piece of junk, B) you have shot the older original model or C) you have a crooked ass eye and are a terrible shot.
